If adventure has a name, surely it must be...

Adventure

well.. because adventure does have a name, and that's what we call it. Okay but if it had aNOTHER name, then it must be...

Indiana Jones brings so many fond memories for me. Seeing the first one as a kid made me so full of awe and wonder. I think even more than any fantasy or sci-fi, even more than Star Wars! I go back and forth, but I think Indy is my favorite. It's also a good Halloween custome to always go back to when you can't think of something else. The stunt show and ride at the Disney parks, the games, the novellas.. I wrote a song parody of Aqua's "Doctor Jones" about Doctor Henry Jones, Jr. In my media class, I also used Doctor Jones as a subject for my resume project, instead of myself. That was more fun to research anyway. Even as a kid, whenever we would go to museums with dinosaurs, or the playgrounds with prehistoric animal statues or fossils, I could pretend to be Indy. I think when Jurassic Park came out, it sort of shifted towards that. But those Indy movies are great. The best one (to me) is The Last Crusade because it's got a deeper father-son story to it, and he gets to really fight Nazis, and they dive more into his character background. With these movies it's like George Lucas and Steven Spielberg figured out the most cinematic story to be told.
